About Crawford House
A long-standing anchor institution dedicated to improving the lives of people in Granby, Toxteth, and wider Liverpool.
From Military Barracks to Community Hub
The Crawford House site on Gwent Street holds rich historical significance in Toxteth. Originally built as a military barracks, the premises later served as a Liverpool fire station before being reclaimed and transformed into a thriving Community Enterprise Centre.
Since 1995, Crawford House Community Partnership has utilized this multi-functional building to host educational classrooms, computer laboratories, a welcoming community café, venue halls, and incubation space for local enterprises and charities.

Aims & Objectives
Crawford House Community Partnership was established under legal charity status to fulfill the following core purposes:
Promoting Welfare for All
The promotion of the welfare of the people of Granby/Toxteth and its immediate environs, without distinction of age, sex, race, or political, religious, or other opinions.
Advancing Education & Social Provision
Improving conditions of life through the advancement of education, provision of facilities for social welfare, health promotion, recreation, and leisure for the local population.

A Message from Our Chief Executive
"Located within the heart of Toxteth, housed inside what was previously a military barracks then serving as a fire station and now a community hub, we have been serving our diverse multi-cultural community for over 25 years. Our easily accessible centre provides a variety of services to the local and wider Liverpool area."
We continue to work closely with Liverpool City Council, local housing associations, educational providers, health trusts, and community groups to ensure that Crawford House remains a vibrant, safe, and empowering space for generations to come.
